Senior Crew member, Mackenzie White, Class of 2019, attends Buckhorn High School. After graduation, she plans to attend Calhoun Community College and then transfer to another local college to go to nursing school and study pediatrics because she loves all things concerning babies. Mackenzie began shooting archery in fifth grade with her Papa and still shoots in honor of him to this day. When asked about who inspires her, she responded, "My mom has inspired me more than anything because she is very strong willed and such a hard worker and she loves the Lord more than anything!!"

A few more facts about Mackenzie...

Favorite music genre: Christian and Country

Favorite music artist: Dan and Shay

Advice for underclassmen: "Cherish every moment because when people say it goes by fast they aren’t kidding..."

Three things on her bucket list: 1. Adopt a child 2. Go skydiving (and face my fear of heights) 3. Go to the Bahamas

When asked about her experience during the photo shoot, she replied, "I got to shoot at my elementary school so it truly meant something to me! I have always been involved with my little town of New Market and I knew I wanted to go back where it all started. Karen is so genuine and is just one of the best people to be around. She truly acts like a second Mom to all of us Crew Members and helps us open up and be ourselves in front of the camera." Mackenzie began her shoot in a super cute black and white outfit including a "Fearless" shirt. Her second outfit was an adorable tri-tone dress that contrasted the green back ground wonderfully. Her third outfit was a pale pink shirt with white shorts that complimented her brown hair great. Her fourth outfit was an adorable gray romper with a flowy white shirt under that made for a beautiful picture against a rustic white wall. Her final outfit was a bright teal flowy dress which went well with the yellow wild flowers and the tranquil river.
